Welcome to Rural Learning

At Rural Learning, we believe in the power of nature to inspire and educate.in a gentle way.  Our unique approach offers a space for those aged between 5-16 with additional needs who are out of mainstream education to learn through nature.

Nature can help lower anxiety

Nature improves mood and therefore helps those who may struggle with emotional dysregulation

Nature invites us to be present and we have found that children and young people stay in the moment without even realising it

Nature can help with self regulation

Interacting with nature and small animals teaches responsibility and promotes self belief in ones own abilities- this in turn creates self confidence.

Growing Vegetables helps with Learning patience, and pride in the achievement of harvesting what you've planted.

Here at Rural Learning Limited, We are Experienced,  Qualified, DBS Enhanced checked, Insured, First Aid Trained and Approved By Hertfordshire County Council.
